Depending on your production, performance rights may or may not be necessary.

If your production is an original, performance rights are not necessary. However, if your production is not an original, chances are you'll need performance rights. In order to progress in the Bord Gáis Energy Student Theatre Awards, you will be asked to provide proof of sufficient performance rights, should your production be shortlisted.

For further, helpful information, please read our performance rights document.
